The Story Behind My Planner: A Universe Waiting to Be Discovered
I’ve always found it challenging to share my creative process in words. It’s rarely a linear journey—it’s more like uncovering hidden treasures along the way. But here’s my first attempt at putting it into words.
One of my most cherished finds is an old bird guide I discovered in a second-hand bookstore when I was a student. Everything about it captivated me—the worn fabric cover, the gold-embossed lettering, and the tiny golden bird perched on the front. It felt like a little preserved universe in my hands, a world waiting to be explored. I studied its pages over and over, drawn to the magic of its details.
When I started designing stationery, I wanted to capture that same feeling—the thrill of opening a book and stepping into a hidden world. But I also wanted to create something practical, something that could inspire while serving a purpose.
That’s how this planner was born. I used a similar fabric cover and golden embossing, but instead of a bird, I designed a mystical creature of my own. And just like that old book, when you open it, a whole new world comes to life—something unexpected.
This planner isn’t bound by dates or rigid structures. You can start any day, any month, and make your own rules. You can pause, return to it later, and pick up right where you left off. It’s designed to adapt to you, not the other way around.
To make it feel even more like a treasured vintage find, I added thoughtful details: a back pocket for little keepsakes and a fabric bookmark to mark your journey. And when the pages are filled, it becomes its own preserved universe - something to tuck away on a shelf and revisit in years to come.
