Where my (Tattoo) journey begins

Since I started creating artwork under the Useless Treasures name, I've received many messages asking to tattoo my art. Of course, I'm always flattered that someone wishes to have a piece of me on their body forever. It's powerful and overwhelming.

But also, those messages planted a seed, a desire. I thought a lot about learning how to tattoo but didn't know where to start, so I let it be. They say that when the student is ready, the teacher comes. So I found a skillful mentor, a fantastic color tattoo artist, to take that journey with me. She teaches me how to tattoo and translate my art into body art. The kind that ages well, flows with the body's shape, and remains beautiful through the years.
